Road to Nowhere

The past month has been so busy! My work has made me feel like I'm on a treadmill, and visiting family has kept me busy at home and out of Second Life and away from blogging for the most part. It's nice to finally have some time for myself.  So today I'll jump back into my blog with this sweet outfit I put together with elements from MOoh!, Emery, Mosquitos Way, and Ison.

The skirt I'm wearing is part of a new set from MOoh!, called the Rachel outfit. The ruffle on the bottom of the skirt matches the cute MOoh! top that I left in the closet today. Instead, I opted for this sweet jacket from Emery - which just happens to be a near perfect match for the skirt. This is the Bastet Jacket in Chesnut (sp?) and it lays perfectly over the skirt without clipping. The Kirsten top is also from Emery and it behaves nicely, without clipping the jacket.
The pretty danglies around my neck are from Ison, the Nova Tribe Necklace in silver. Ison makes some great clothing items, but I only recently discovered their jewelry. They don't have a big selection, but what they do have is very fun and creative!

Not a lot of people know this, but one of the main elements of high fashion is "stompiness", which I have achieved with these epic Nimue boots from Mosquito's Way. You can customize these to go with almost anything via the color hud.  My hair is from Stealthic, one of my favorite hair creators. This style is Passion and has some of the best hair textures you'll find. My glasses are Meshdol-7 Color Nerd Glasses (because I'm a Color Nerd, obviously).  This pose is from Michelle Halster's pose shop, Carniola.

Hope you had a wonderful Easter weekend, and enjoy your Monday!
